About Me

I have been a stay at home mom and also an avid photographer for quite a while. I have found that with friends, family and my own children that I could not get them to sit in a portrait studio for more than a couple of minutes before they were ready to move on to something more interesting. Family portrait day always ended up being one of the more stressful days of the year. The day when we were supposed to all look happy and beautiful at the same time could sometimes turn into a major disaster. And then only a few photos would turn out with us all looking the same way and nobody blinking. It was so frusterating. On the other hand, the photos taken at our home when there was no time limit and the kids were in their own environment and relaxed turned out beautifully. I realized that that was the key to wonderful portraits. I am so lucky to now be doing something that I am so passionate about.

What I Do

I provide portraits for people who don't want to go to a studio and sit through a torturous 30 minutes to come out with just a couple of photos that turned out "okay".

I would love to come to the location that you are most comfortable and spend as much time as it takes to get "the" picture. That perfect shot that you will look back on for decades to come with joy and fond memories.
